Not suitable for molding

As another reviewer mentioned, Dremel has changed the way these cutting/shaping wheels are made. The one I bought years ago was amazing and could really cut. This one was a big disappointment. The back is bare and you can't shape the tree by pulling it towards you, and if you push it forward you can't see what you're doing. Cut is also mediocre. Basically, it burns, but does not cut. All in all, it's expensive shit right now.

Well built and works well

A small project in my closet required a 1x6 cut that was nailed to the wall of the closet in a narrow corner. I didn't want to pull 1x6 out, cut and reinstall. This requires resealing, touching up the paint, and using new fasteners to replace the wood. This blade allowed me to cut the wood in place and get a clean cut that I could then use a sander and I was done. This wheel does a great job with untreated wood, will not overheat or give off a burning smell. I really don't think I'll ever need…

Must have if you ever want to cut blocks of wood

I have had my Dremel for many years and have tried using the standard cutting wheels to cut pieces of wood for various small projects with no success. I'd really like to see Dremel include these accessories in the standard kits - it would save me a lot of time and nerves. The last small project was working with my son on a car for this year's Pinewood Derby for the Baby Scouts. After finding this attachment after a random search of the Dremel accessories, I tried this attachment out and ordered
