The tape thickness - 3.1mm - is the same for this tape and Scotch Heavy Duty Packaging Tape. Duck brand tape works great, holds strong and spreads properly with no random nicks. are slightly different. HD Clear: Thick. Very easy to tear when the incision has already started. Weak stickiness. Good for sticking something on the wall without having to remove the paint later. It's terrible to glue boxes together. Within 24 hours it literally fell off by itself! Don't use boxes to pack unless you want all of your stuff to fall on the floor.
