Beware. They say they are sterile but they are not individually wrapped. Once you open a 25 pack, you risk being exposed.

Not recommended! They come in 1 large pouch instead of the box it shows. They are not individually wrapped and I am assuming they are not truly sterile.

There are literally 3 groups of materials in my first aid kit. Simple, more than simple trauma. This item is a necessary part of my basic set. I try to always have my gear ready for whatever I need to do as a first responder for my family members.

Great product I needed post surgery. My doctor gave me some of these to apply a healing cream to the surgical site and it works well with that. It didn't leak through, so it didn't get on my clothes. So when I used the one my focus gave me, I bought mine.

Good quality seals for the money spent. They are quite absorbent, I would say you get around 8 hours of absorbency depending on the rate of leakage from the wound. I've found that we have to swap out that ab pad about every 8 hours for what we had back then. I hope this will be of help to those purchasing sterile ABD dressings. These are 5" x 9" or 5" x 9" shoes.

From the ad I was expecting them to be 5" x 9". This size is also indicated on the packaging. Instead, the lining area is actually 4.5 x 7 inches. The seal's coverage extends 0.5" on one end and 1" on the other, but this should not be considered a "shim size". Also, they are a lot thinner than other ABD pads I've used. areas and very slight drainage but that is not what they are advertised for.

I have ordered them twice. The first batch contained individually wrapped and sterile pads in an open top box. The second batch consisted of 25 loose pads stacked on top of each other and wrapped in plastic. I'm not sure how this can be considered sterile. The second batch also seems to be a bit thinner than the first one I ordered, but it doesn't seem to affect absorbency. I'm a bit disappointed with the presentation but I don't need a sterile product so I'll keep them because they're cheap.

It was perfect for my recovery after surgery. You are the perfect size. However, I would like to point out that the dimensions are 5 inches by 9 inches, ie the dimensions of the entire pad, not the dimensions of the absorbent layer.
