DV8 rear derailleur in housing

I spliced it to a common star because it doesn't fit my rear derailleur. The quality of the whole product is exactly what I thought it would be.

Great product great price

Love my new DV8 4WD shift knob! It's an easy install in just a few minutes. I love the extra detail they put on the tire pressure that hides where the screw goes.

Cool addition to my jeep

Looks really cool. It just goes really well with my Sahara! The only problem is the installation. It's very difficult to remove the original shifter and a hassle to fit a new one, but once you've done it, it's great!

Great replacement for the transfer case.

I love this pen! Has a nice feel/weight. Didn't know it was metal (aluminum I think). The stock transfer case knob is MUCH harder to remove than the shift knob, so be prepared (just pull straight up). Before installing this knob, pull the rubber tab on the side to access the set screw to tighten it to the stand or it won't stay in place.

Serious shift knob - easier to read and to match the SUV look - needs more detailed instructions

This shift knob is a lot better than the dumb plastic and chrome used on the JK. The markings are easier to read, the tire-patterned rubber offers good traction, not only looks "cool” but also better suits the off-road aesthetic. What's missing are instructions on how to pull back the rubber ring and adjust the set screw to secure it to the shifter rod. The stock Jeep is easily pulled on and off with an internal spring clip, so it should come with instructions explaining how to fit it…
