Sound absorbing liner

I used this material to muffle and isolate noise from motors and transformers in my stereo. For example, I leveled the top, bottom and sides of my CD player and this resulted in a noticeably quieter and more solid metal box which I hope will result in better sound quality. This type of improvement is subtle in many applications. So if you're trying to get the best sound out of your gear, this is a way to go without having to spend a fortune. The material is supplied in rolls similar to aluminum

OMG what a ride

I bought two of these (when they sold for a lot less than the $50 they want now) to use in a Toyota pickup conversion. I originally bought them to line the bottom of the hood. OMG what a trip. • Fitment Type: Universal
Cons
  • Requires Socket

Great thing! - Replacement Parts

Damper (from Second Skin) + Dynaliner is a great combination. The Dynamat is much more difficult to install than the Damplifier, but the second skin version of the closed cell foam liner is not self-adhesive. The steamer/Dyanaliner combo, while not cheap, is the best do-it-yourself installation. Don't be lazy, especially with doors, and simply use large individual sheets to cover the "middle" of the door. (This can often be seen in photos of "professional" installations.) While this requires a…
