Great emergency solution

Dynaplug worked exactly as advertised. I only used it once to plug a nail hole. 1 plug made it. Small and autonomous; so you can keep it on your motorcycle. The only thing you need besides this tool is a pair of needle nose pliers (or a multi-tool) to remove the offending item and air source.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Can't remember

These spark plugs really work

This is the second set of spark plugs I have ordered as I have bought my wife a new car. Plug a few times and it's pretty easy to use. The only thing I would recommend is to first remove the wheel from the car for better access and remove the nail (or whatever) going into the tire - this isn't just for relief of removal, but also because a reasonable effort is required to insert plugs into tires.

Works, but not as easy as expected!

Well I got a chance to try it on a slow leak from a penny nail that I've carried with me for too long. It took a lot of effort to push it through my Heidenau Scout 60 tires on the Ktm Adventure. After bending the reamer (user error) and messing up the first connector when trying to fit it into the bus, I succeeded. I was surprised that it took 3 plugs to fill a small 16 cent nail hole. Okay, I'll order replacement plugs and a new reamer head. I hope everything goes smoothly next time.

Works when it works

I recently had to repair a simple nail puncture and had previously used this tool successfully. This time, however, for some reason I had a heck of a lot of time. I couldn't get the plug to pierce the tire on the other side. I went through four plugs before getting a good result. I tried to push the connector and the brass head broke off or, worse, didn't fully seat in the strap but didn't stick out. I eventually drilled a hole and was able to fit through the strap, but those 64-year-old…

Works great with tire repair tools

So I put this screw in one of the tires which caused a slow leak. I was going to pick up my car to have a tire fixed but I found out about Dynaplug so I ordered this kit and thanks to Revain Prime it arrived in 2 days. I ended up using 2 plugs to "fix" the hole after removing the screw as the hole was slightly larger and I was still losing air with a plug. It took 2 minutes to prime the tire, install the plugs and check for leaks with a soap solution. The repair has held up wonderfully and…

Very elegant way of placing the end caps plus exceptional quality

I ordered an aluminum tool which is good enough but they sent me a stainless steel tool. This is a true professional quality tool that is indestructible. It's also a GREAT connection method, the tool is fully self-contained and ultra-compact making it easy to keep on board unlike traditional connection kits. My only concern is that the string plug itself is 1/8" in diameter - too small. for typical car breakdowns. You had to pass 3/16. The problem is they want the corks to be tiny so a chick…

Works great and a good zipped bag for car storage.

Very good product, used for a screw and long nail for 2 different car tires this week. Removing the screw and nail is easy to loosen. Both bikes removed at home. The dynaplug went easily into the screw (slightly larger in diameter than the nail and used 2 plugs to stop the leak. The dynaplug was much more difficult for the nail to insert and required a lot of force, but it stopped the leak well. The diameter of the silver retainer was wider than the hole for the nail next time i will use the…

Good tool but plugs are small

I work in construction and it's easy to accidentally damage a tire with a carelessly thrown nail or screw. The good news is that an air compressor is usually on site. So if you have an air chuck and piercing kit, this is an easy fix. I've had several of those cheap puncture plug kits that you buy at your local auto store. With thick, sticky threads and flimsy installation tools that don't seem to work. I wanted a better tool and maybe even a better system. After watching a few videos I settled…

Works damn well. Definitely recommend.

This tool was extremely easy to use. Supplied with a pack of additional connectors along with 3 already pre-installed in the tool itself. I plugged the tire, filled it with air again and drove for a few minutes. When I came back the tire pressure was 1-2psi lower. With some soap and water I found that the small leak was still there. I didn't want to put in a second plug so I decided to just leave it on and check the pressure again in the morning. I went to the garage today and found the…
