🗑️ Dyson Replacement Bin Assembly, Part Number 967699-01 Review

My vacuum slipped and the bin's little plastic tab broke. I bought it immediately and received it in a few days. I watched an installation video and was able to put it together in less than 5 minutes. It was very easy. I thought $36 seemed a bit expensive but I needed the details. I wish the trash can tab was more durable.

I bought my Dyson v8 absolute in the summer of 2017. I liked the Dyson vacuum as it is very light and easy to clean at home. This spring, his trash can broke, so when I used it to clean, the collected dust got in. I didn't initially include a warranty and had trouble getting it fixed. As I was navigating the Amazon online store, I knew I could get this item. That's only $45. And I, an old woman, can easily be replaced with a new trash can. I am now very happy to be able to use my Dyson again.

After leaning against the wall, our Dyson fell and broke some of the tabs, preventing the latch from staying closed to empty the bin. While it's a bummer, the part isn't more durable, but luckily this part is at least interchangeable and can be replaced in just minutes without wasting an arm and a leg. Works great again and with the new bin it looks almost brand new! I hope another little fall doesn't break anything.
