When I first ordered this item it was listed as an OEM Dyson replacement but the part was damaged on the way to me so I am reordering had to. I rushed it because it was getting late so I reordered the same item from the same seller. I only noticed on the day of delivery that it was replaced with a spare part. The brush is fine but there is a problem with the straps. Both straps are thicker than Dyson straps (perhaps to compensate for inferior materials?) and are very tight, at least initially…

Thank you for such a wonderful product, especially including the straps required for installation. Among the tools I used and needed were T-10 and T-15 Torx bits and a screwdriver, a screwdriver, a 6mm deep socket, small curved needle nose pliers and a wood chisel or a long flat metal, around to lift the straps for installation. I bought this hose and spare hose for DC33 at the same time. Installation took less than 5 minutes and hose took about 3 minutes. I read the reviews and several people claimed it took 30 minutes to an hour to install and some just gave up. I'm not sure what the problem was for her, but it took me a few minutes and a damn joint.
