Incorrect information - not for older pet Dyson

Said it would fit my older pet Dyson Purple. This hose was far from its original shape. I sent it back right away. Disappointed that the info said it would fit.

Ideal for vacuum cleaning and floor care

Works great! You can replace it without removing the ends by simply removing the canister and pushing it through the base after removing the U-connector and the two clips holding the base.

Broke again after 5 months of use.

I was so happy to know that I could get a replacement for my DYSON, but the replacement hose I bought in April broke after just a few months of use. Now I have to get another one. Not cool. The vacuum cleaner is annoying anyway, but I'm sticking with it. I wish the men who designed vacuum cleaners understood that women have more fun using hose attachments than just vacuuming a room. You can repair your old hose the same way you repair a new one

I figured I could just buy a new hose and replace the old hose with holes with a metal tube that fits the hose to use. like a vertical vacuum. I watched a video on how to repair a Dyson hose by holding the end of the hose in hot water to soften the plastic/rubber, pushing in the tabs and pulling out the end of the hose, cutting off the perforated part of the hose, Cut part of the tubing into a metal coil and reconnect.
