Doesn't break down

One of my goals for 2021 is to reduce the use of plastic bags, so I started using these bags for kitchen waste. During the weekdays I throw coffee grounds, vegetable scraps, used tea bags, and other items in one of these bags. So far they have held out. I believe the company's claim that it's biodegradable, so I'm happy with everything!

Pros
  • 🌱 {CARBON FOOTPRINT}: These bin bags are not your ordinary plastic bags that keep their carbon footprint even after recycling. Eco Life Bags fully decompose within 180 days after being buried in the ground. They are consumed by small microorganisms under natural conditions.
Cons
  • Skimpy Instructions

Eco-Friendly Failure

While the idea of using eco-friendly bin liners is a great idea, this product is not worth considering as it does not serve the purpose for which it was designed. Once weight accumulates, it cannot remain intact. The bag is torn and then there is rubbish everywhere. I strongly encourage manufacturers to go back to the drawing board in development as this product should not have made the list.

Pros
  • 🌱 {QUALITY}: 25 microns thick, withstands loads up to 20 kg. In addition, it is odorless and free of harmful substances. These 50 bin liners are guaranteed to be a new addition to your home.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Do not use these sachets

Claimed to be a 13 gallon container, our 10 gallon containers have a 10" x 14" opening and will not fit. I've never had a problem with other 11 gallon compostable bags, but they've sold out. The bags are said to decompose after 180 days, but there is no manufacturing date on the packaging. I have about 18 bags in this box and half fell apart in the jar, didn't pick anything up, nothing, just sat in there with trash for a few days. I even packed the last pair in two bags and the same, both bags…

Pros
  • 🌱 {RAW}: Raw material made from corn starch, derived from plants. 100% earth grown and biodegradable. Raw materials are produced in such a way that they look like plastic, but are also good for our planet.
Cons
  • Has been corrupted.
