Everything about this barked collar is as good as a remote control teacher collar EXCEPT the function button. The button doesn't respond very well when pressed, making switching between settings harder than it should be. Auto mode (L9) is pretty good. All in all a great product I would 100% buy again but wish the button was the same as the remote teacher collars.

Educator products have always been the best quality in the competition. I made the mistake of buying a cheaper name brand product and it was terrible in terms of control and ability to control shock levels. Our intention was to give our dogs very little stimulation to help them with aggression towards other dogs and the cheap ones were terrible at the level of shock they caused even when rejected. We have another one for our wife and it just vibrates so it's nice to have that feature too.

I have used Educator products before and this one is no exception in terms of quality and performance. Easy to use (watch the YouTube video to see how to set it up) and very effective for training your dog to overcome unwanted barking. The bark counter is an underrated feature that I LOVE, it's great to know how my dog is doing while I'm away. The product has a serious design flaw for all long-haired dogs that need longer electrodes and a bark sensor. This sensor requires an extension that fits over the bark sensor. If (and not if) this part falls off (see Slip-Fit), the collar will no longer register a bark. It's a shame because it worked until the part fell off. I've only had this collar for 2 weeks but my dog has almost stopped barking (and whining and squeaking) even when agitated which is practically a miracle.
