Installed on my 6.0 as an OEM starter upgrade. Spins faster than stock and spins with no changes. Has been working flawlessly for 6 months now.

Update: 2 years later and this starter died. Updated to it from my factory, but the 6.0 launcher works fine. This one launches much faster and launches in less time. I was a little worried because my factory starter had an external set screw in the teeth that go into the flywheel so it looks a little different, but it works great. Love it!

WoW, the best upgrade to 6.0 Power Stroke. Starts much faster (generates high pressure oil faster) Started today with no mains power at 30° in less than 2 seconds. Bought from Revain used in like new condition. When opening the nut, everything was missing and it showed signs of friction or impact. Also, for the amount I paid, this is a straight upgrade to my 06 f350. I've been wearing it for 3 months so far and time will tell if that still happens. It took me 15-20 minutes to install. Please note that you need to remove the screw on the back first and attach 2 front knuckles when installing to help Alina at the back. one.

My old 6.0 starter did its job well. I just felt that the boot time was too long and was draining my batteries unnecessarily. The new 6.4 starter has significantly reduced start times. The installation didn't go too bad. An hour to remove the old one and 30 minutes to install the new one. I would recommend this product to all my friends looking for an upgrade. I bought this because I wanted to update the OE starter on my 6.0. While I didn't have any issues with the original, I'm glad I made this exchange.
