These sheets are a fire hazard! They must contain plastic because when I first dried them (in a conventional dryer) they melted, charred and burned holes in several places! Unbelievable that these sheets are sold legally and that the product description/name says 'Egyptian' when it is by no means 'Egyptian cotton'. They must be made from a foreign blend of synthetic fibers. Mild maybe, but extremely dangerous! Beware!

The real stuff may have a lot of threads, it looks good, but the way they're made screams "CHINA!" The stitching around the edges really sucks, as with most Chinese things, worn out and only washed once. They use the bottom of the bottom, the cheapest thread they can find, to sew them together. And even contradictory. But then they put it in this really cool package with nice pictures, so it must be good!

When I opened the package I was disappointed. These microfiber towels are incomparable to any Egyptian cotton, they are very thin and of poor quality. I washed them and followed the terrible. They are crumpled, the seams are sewn poorly, threads are sticking out at all seams. They look faded and don't look like the light color in the adverts for these sheets. March 5th, 2016 Label says 100% Egyptian Cotton. They are thin but very soft and surprisingly warm. The color is more muted than in the picture. I live on the Big Island of Hawaii and in the rainforest. We have no running water and collect rainwater for cleaning and bathing.
