Elegant Designs LT3214-BLU Glass Table Lamp with Light Blue Fabric Shade Review

Can't believe I just rubbed the glass base and the blue color faded instantly! Now I know for sure that this is not a stained glass window, but plain glass with a blue coating. I can't believe I spent almost $50 on this stupid lamp.

No, do not buy this lamp. When you touch it for the first time, the green tint immediately peels off your hand, leaving a fuzzy handprint on your lamp. I would have sent it back but I already threw the packaging in the bin. Cheap junk.

When I wiped the blue glass with a soft cloth and glass cleaner, to my surprise the blue color came off! If I had known this was going to happen, I would never have bought them. And now it's December and "blue" turns green! The last photo was taken on 3/4/19

I bought this lamp to decorate my living room and it is very good. The color of the blue glass is very beautiful. The color of the lamp in the photo looks a little paler than in real life because the light is clearly on. Glass isn't great in my opinion, but I don't see a problem with it. It has a clear top and a clear base. I just love it.

In theory the lamps are fine but the packaging was terrible and the lampshades arrived totally damaged. And it's not colored glass. We cleaned with Windex without ammonia and the color changed immediately so now we have clear lamps and had to buy new lampshades for them and the screw doesn't hold the lampshade at all. Do not buy.

The light blue glass left bruises on my hands when installing! The base and top of the lampshade are made of clear plastic, and the top of the lampshade is not secure enough to hold the lampshade in place. I just repackaged it to send it back as defective. It's a shame because it looks really nice - if only it weren't so badly made!

I love this lamp and like the price. This is the 3rd one I've bought. If handled properly by the deliverer, it is packaged very well and is very easy to set up. It features an attractive, well-made glass base in a very pretty teal hue that sits on a clear plastic ring and is the perfect height for a bedside table. I originally bought 2 for our beach house (pictured) and bought this one for my daughter's room as I wanted to add blue to a gray and white theme.

I was very pleased when my lamps arrived. I immediately unpacked and assembled them. After installing the lightbulbs, I set about cleaning up the leftovers of the packaging. I read reviews that the lamps were turquoise rather than blue and that's what I looked for. After two hits. My napkin was turquoise and the lamp was no longer turquoise.
