Adjust fan speed and light level from the same wall switch; compatible with dimmable LED, incandescent, and halogen lights; designed for 3-speed mechanical fans with pull string control. Dual slide controls; fan slider features 3 speeds (not for variable type fans or remote controlled); light slider provides full-range of dimming with a noticeable clicking sound when slid into the OFF position. Made of Polycarbonate Thermoplastic (PCT) material to provide the durability and resilience needed to withstand hard impacts and heavy force; heat & fade resistance to temperatures over 100ยฐ to prevent discoloration; flammability UL94; V2 rating. Light almond color; for the best fit and color match, use with ENERLITES decorator wall plates; recommended models: 8831-LA, 8831M-LA, 8831O-LA (wall plate sold separately). Disappointing ceiling fan dimmer switch

When I tried this product, I quickly realized that it was not up to par. The dimming function is extremely inconsistent and often flickers, making the room feel uncomfortable. On the plus side, the fan controls work well. Unfortunately, the poor dimming control makes this product not worth the investment.

It mainly works for lighting and ceiling fans

As other reviewers have pointed out, the high speed of the fan underneath is a bit odd and annoying. It also doesn't handle shading very well. I've tried a few different bulbs, so I don't think that's the problem. My previous dimmer worked great. The dimmer works but not very low and then just turns off a couple of bulbs and they flicker a little. It serves its purpose and I'm not so dissatisfied as to change it or order a new one. I'll just live with mediocrity.

Overall a good controller!

Overall 4 stars. Installation was easy and the instructions are clear. I installed this for a ceiling fan that uses dimmable LED bulbs. The dimmer works great. The only reason I didn't give that 5 stars is that the fan controller causes some flickering. When I shift from H to M and L the lights flicker. It doesn't matter as the product works but my other controllers don't. I have 2 of these devices and both work. If I had a choice I would still buy this device as the price is good and theโ€ฆ
