I have to say after reading online expert reviews of this product I was absolutely convinced to buy it. After putting it in my canister filter about two days later and suffering severe water clarity issues, everything was crystal clear.

I have been using this product in my 75 gallon cichlid tank for about 2 years. The water is crystal clear, there were no problems with the water quality. I only change it every 3 months (approx. every second filter cleaning).

Typical dry cleaning quality. The extra ingredients they used in this blue work well. I noticed a decrease in phosphate and NO3 during testing. I use two on a 55 gallon reef with a 30 gallon sump. I also have a protein skimmer in the swamp. The water became crystal clear. I recommend using this product even if you use reverse osmosis/deionized water. Really helps to purify the water in the aquarium. I had high nitrate levels causing cloudy eyes in 3 of my fish. After changing the water and adding Chemi-Pure Blue to my tank, my cloudy eyes cleared up. The only thing I didn't like was that when replacing one of the power filter cartridges, the Chemi-Pure bag burst, causing the charcoal to fall onto the sandy bottom and the white balls to float in the tank. Great product! I use 3 of these in my marine fish and reef tank and it makes the water crystal clear. I only have to change Chemi-pure every 3 months which is worth the money.
