Equus 6088 3 3 Tachometer Black Review

There is a start delay for the tachometer registration and I would like to dim the backlight since it is installed on the dashboard. Everything else is fine.

This is a decent rev counter for the money and I love the nostalgic look it has on my Chevelle 67. It works well and looks great when lit.

When I say far, I mean completely unrealistic. That speedo peaks before my engine hits my set 6500 rpm limiter. I was very confused trying to set the idle and the tachometer read 1100 when the engine stalled due to the low idle. I bought it to use for customization purposes because it was cheap and I just wanted to throw it in the closet after using it. Turns out I'm going to throw it in the trash. Installed as expected. Took more time to check everything was ok, after 200 miles my ignition coil caught fire literally in the middle of nowhere on the freeway, later tow truck, new ignition, a day of waiting for a new wire harness for the coil, on the way back and cancellation of the whole trip my new power coil is melting, fortunately this one has not caught fire like the previous one, after cleaning all the bases and checking all the connections it is more than obvious that the reason for…
