The most useful part of the kit are pigtails with end caps on one end and a compression connector to the strip on the other. Putting the strips together takes some practice as the glue on the strips is awkward to work with but helps hold them in place. The biggest problem with the kit is the wire spool. Nothing is included that would allow you to use it. Connectors are designed for ribbon, not wire.

I did not find how to connect the extension cord to the LED strip. I was able to attach snaps to strip lights, but there was no way to attach extension cords without soldering them. Kind of defeats the purpose of even providing an extension cord. The following had to be ordered for the solder-free connection: RGB LED connection for 10 mm bar, 4-pin circuit board for LED terminal connection.

They got the job dammit. The corner connectors are very thin. Solderless connectors are made very cheaply, to the point where they are opened and closed more than a few times to render them unusable. They got the job done and looking around I don't see a big drop in quality. If you're buying a set and plan on using every piece, I suggest buying several as you can't use multiple pieces.

Many connectors included and well made. The LED strip snaps into the snap-in connectors fairly easily and makes a solid connection. My only issue is that the description implies that you should solder the wires to the snap connectors, but I've only been able to get this to work about 25% of the time using multiple methods. I have found that the easiest way to add more wires is to cut off the included pigtails and then solder and shrink the extensions.

Worked for costumes All plugs held up well enough, only one plug had to be reinstalled at a 90 degree angle. I remember pigtails being a little weird, like the pin configuration wasn't consistent from end to end making it difficult to trace the wires by color. There are little triangles/arrows on the connectors to show orientation, but some sort of connector (one of the pigtails I think) had to be put on backwards to get everything aligned. As I said, everything is advertised. I bought it because of the long coil of wire to make longer extension cords. My suggestion was that the connectors would work for a spool of wire. They don't! They are designed for flat LED strips and not wire connectors. So to use the wire to create the 3 foot extension had to I unsoldered a few of the existing connectors in the kit. Then use those connectors on my power strip. That's why I bought this kit SO I WOULD NOT NEED TO SOLDER.

Good kit for more advanced setups. The connectors are a bit difficult to use and don't form a very strong connection. Not recommended for outdoor use. I originally used these connectors on my car and quickly found that they were not up to the task. Like I said, inside they should be fine! The strip itself is fine and has very good adhesion! Note: If you plan on using them as a bottom gloss/vehicle accent like I did, be aware that this is illegal in most states! Use at your own risk! If you burn
