This is good for many things.

Whatever your reason for purchasing this rope, it will be effective. It's soft, not too harsh on the skin and will stand up to most abuse. For more advanced techniques maybe not so much. Do lots of research before using it for an application. Stay safe out there kids.

Perfect for Shibari

Silky soft to the touch. Very good rope for such a cheap price. I have now ordered several different colors and they are all the same quality. I fluffed up the ends instead of melting them. Update: 3/26/22 Ordered for Shibari, the last batch of black color I received is a completely different quality, looks like Walmart quality rope. This is no longer the soft, beautiful braid it used to be. I won't buy it again if the quality is like this now.

Perfect for my banner

I bought this black nylon rope specifically for a banner I wanted to hang on my jeep. I wanted black nylon rope to tie a special banner to my jeep's rear wheel. It had to be black and strong enough to hold the banner on the tire as shown in the picture. And since it had to be outside all the time, it had to be nylon. I chose black to better match my car's black cover. Great product for the price.

Thick, soft, fits me

Used for #20 anchor on a 14ft river boat. It is not an ideal anchor line for the weight to working load ratio. If you have a large boat/payload I would look elsewhere. It's thick, won't cut your hands, and holds knots well. For my purposes, a thick rope is enough to make pulling the anchor easier. Once you go 1/2 inch, never go back to 3/8 inch for anchors. I would use 3/8" for dock line where you need better knot ability, 1/2" is top notch for comfort. Went with red and white. Colored…
