I specifically wanted PWM ARGB fans so the speed could be controlled by the motherboard depending on the CPU temperature. At first I ordered a cheaper kit with 6-pin connectors (GIM), but that required a remote to control the fan speed. I have now installed 3 fan kits (GIM KB-23, KB-24 and Deepcool 120 Plus) and sent them back. Deepcools were better made but had different problems and only 3 fans for the same price. Bought these for my new car, didn't want to spend money on Corsair and figured other brands would be just as good. Installation was a little more difficult than expected as the screw holes are unthreaded. I later found out that many case fans are shipped this way to ensure a tighter fit. I have bought a few more of these kits for my new TT P8 case. First, the hub is much better, although plastic (instead of aluminum) is now used. Remember this is not a downgrade. The ARGB connectors fit much tighter and they plug right in. That still worries the old hubs a bit. The only issue I've had with these last two add-on purchases is affordability. Update 28th February 2020 – Having gone through the process of changing from 120mm wheel on my 2080 ti hybrid to 480mm wheel I now have 19 of them in my case fans work hard and the airflow is still great are not static optimized fans. With these 480mm wheel fans, the GPU is now 25° cooler under load. They are still quiet and generate significant airflow.
