This may be a great sharpener but the manufacturer needs to spend some money to buy better/sturdier parts. The knife clip has 3 small screws that hold the knife and guide in place. I've had this sharpening system for 1.5 months and two of the three plastic heads on the pivot screws broke off exposing the screw heads and making them harder to turn. the instructions warn against over tightening.
