🐶 Classic Blanket Coat for Fashionable Pets Review

I live in New York and we had a very cold winter. So I bought it; Shipping in 3 days and fits perfectly. I have a Maltese, I bought him a small one. It pulls a little and it kind of slides to the side. But I don't think it's the products.

I bought this coat for my 55lb Golden Retriever mix and it suits him fantastic! It seems well done and doesn't irritate him, so that was nice. The only issue other reviewers have noted is that the dimensions are nowhere near the same. If I had to guess, I'd size him up to M/L, but XL fits him like a glove. If he gains weight, she will no longer suit him. I would order at least one size up if not two.

The coat is soft, warm and the collar is very cute. It also has a nice secure strap to keep the coat on the dog comfortably. But information about the coat said it was "designed for Boxers, Chow Chows, Dalmatians, and similar-sized dogs." No way! Luckily we have two dogs and although I bought this dog for a larger dog it turned out to be a good match for our little Blue Heeler Beagle mix.

I ordered a stretcher for my Scotty and it fits perfectly. The Velcro runs just behind the shoulders so the coat can't get dirty. This is a lovely soft fleece material and is a very light navy blue with a red check pattern. My dog took a while to get used to the coat but since I keep it trimmed he needed some extra warmth for our cold winter expeditions. It was delivered quickly as promised and I am very happy with the well made product.

I have a 4 1/2 lb Maltese puppy. The coat suits her very well, but sometimes she pulls up her front leg and gets stuck in the coat. Then she falls on her cute little face. It's a bit weird when it happens on the lawn, but for obvious reasons I have to carry it up and down the stairs. If your dog is not active, this is a great coat. Or maybe when it's too active and you want to slow it down. I personally will buy something else before I have to buy another dog.

The coat is perfect for my 8-9 lb Yorkie. I get comments from people when I take it for walks and it's made of a lovely material that not only keeps my little one warm but also fashionable. It also keeps them from stepping out of the harness due to the coat's extra volume (when we're playing tug-of-war during a disagreement about where to go!). The leg loops keep the coat in the perfect position, so I use it for long walks, but if it's just a quick trip to the bathroom, you can do without it…
