    The ground wire was at the wrong contact.

    The ground wire was in the wrong place. It was number 6 and it should have been number 2. If there was a wire in number 2 I could just use it, but there was no pin or wire. I was able to disassemble the connector and move the pin to slot number 2, but that shouldn't have been necessary. I have a Winnebago RV based on a '95 Ford E350.

    Double check your connections

    The item arrived as advertised, although only one of the connectors fitted. I have a 2000 Ford Mustang Roush Stage 1 and only the gray connector will fit. The black for the speakers had a square shape in the car, as opposed to a predetermined flat shape. I was lucky enough to already have an aftermarket radio installed so I used the plug from that and it worked great. Half stars for half good work.

    Works well: Car AV install

    I bought this hanger to replace the radio in a 1997 F350 pickup. The harness arrived packaged in a plastic bag with no actual instructions, but if you're buying one of these harnesses you should know what to do. If not, look it up on the internet. Simply connect the wires to the appropriate wires on the wiring harness for your new radio. The wiring harness and connectors were well made and properly connected. Hooked up the new radio and worked great. It was a great purchase.

    Fits perfectly on my 1989 F150

    This connector kit is perfect for my Ford F150. I unplugged the factory radio, connected them with color coded wires as indicated on the new aftermarket radio, just twisted the wires together and kept them separate to test the system. Once I knew it worked, I removed the connectors from the truck. , and soldered all the wire connections on the workbench and insulated them with 1/8" lengths of heat shrink tubing and hooked it back up to the truck and screwed the new radio into the dash!     Perfect fit for '97 F150 but look out for OEM Premium Sound Pack

    Fits perfectly and works great. FYI for anyone who owns a '97 F150 with an OEM premium sound package (including amp and 6 CD changer). The gray connector in this pack connects to the gray connector that has moved away from the OEM head unit and its pigtails connect to the connector on your new head unit, but there is a 16-pin black connector that also differs from yours OEM has removed head unit.
