Like many others, I ordered this for my son to avoid dust on his records. He found it worked very well. Our house is actually pretty dusty, despite air purifiers and frequent vacuuming. We have four cats and I think this could be the reason. Regardless, it works as advertised. Maybe some of them work better, but it helped his records shed dust, not just fan it out, so it's useful. His records sound clean after use without crackling.

I purchased this product to help with reballing or soldering BGAs. Solder balls will bounce off or stick to the tweezers due to static electricity. Air ionization removes static electricity. However, after more than an hour of running the fan directly on the small circuit board, the static electricity did not go away. I tried low speed but still got PCB as well as higher speed. UPDATE: The more I use this the higher I have to speed it up to even get it to work. I expect it to stop working completely within the next 10 uses. Don't waste your money, I thought I had a defective product so I exchanged it for a new one. This one was actually a little worse. Should have left the last one.
