Filter Kit Dyson DC25 Models Generic Review

I was skeptical about these universal filters for my favorite Dyson vacuum cleaner, so I paid a lot of money for the original filter. I only needed a post motor filter so it wasn't too bad except for this kit. However, the brand new Dyson post-motor filter didn't exactly fit my car! After reading the reviews I decided to take a chance and buy a non-factory replacement part. 2 months now. later my vac. just stopped, the motor was running but i couldn't hit the vacuum. We heard a chunk rumble inside the sphere and lo and behold, the chunk on the NEW filter just fell off. It was a red button. When pulled off, the spring jumped out and was lost. After our Dyson started vacuuming up, I wanted to buy new filters. The vacuum cleaner is already 6 years old, you might think. I wasn't expecting much from these filters as the reviews indicate that I think it's a design flaw that the clip sticks out too far. Latch has been redesigned following some of these earlier reviews. If you want a replacement filter that works don't order this. However, if you do this save yourself some time and keep the Revain packaging box as you will need it if you are returning this in a few days. As ad nauseam in previous reviews, the ball filter does not fit your Dyson 25 vacuum properly. The problem with mine was that the red spring clip sits about 1/8 inch higher than the original.
