Excellent mounting option! I bought it because I plan to get a pan in the near future. I've been chasing bad SWR readings for a while, so I decided to run a ground wire (see image). After adding the ground wire I got a solid 1.3-1.5 on all channels. Very solid mount and I am planning to buy another one for the 2m/70cm dual band ham radio antenna for the other side. 2015 f250.

The product is good and of excellent quality but it does not fit my truck. Instead I stole the design idea and made my own and it got better. I gave 4 stars because it would be great if it fitted. I was looking for a solid installation without scratching or drilling my truck. It meets these requirements. Plug is interchangeable. So just consider this type of connector.

This product could have been 4 or 5 stars except it sacrificed the PL-259 connector. It has no cutouts for the cutting edge and therefore has a very poor connection to coax. My SWR jumped during transmission until I replaced the PL-259 connector with a cutout connector to ensure a good electrical connection. The middle plug doesn't fit properly either. Avoid until a better PL-259 connector is fitted to this product.

This did exactly what I was hoping for! This product only fits on the left or right of the bed rail (I wanted to try between the cubicle and the drawer). Excellent quality and easy installation. I bought this for my 2015 Chevy Silverado. My truck has a cover on the body. I figured I'd just follow the instructions and attach it to the bed. But I've found that when I undo the lid's side retainers, it slides perfectly underneath. I reattached the clamp and the panel stays in place. I didn't have to use the bottom bracket plate. I wanted to fit a quad band antenna to my new truck but didn't want to punch holes in it. My Diamond CR-9800 antenna has a SO-239 mount and I couldn't find an inexpensive mount for it. The Firestik mount is constructed of heavy gauge stainless steel and has 4 10-32 x 1" stainless steel screws and a 3/8"-24 whip mount. I had to make some simple assembly modifications for my purposes. 1) Enlarge the hole to fit the PL-259 connector (I used the bracket and cable from the Diamond 400 bracket). With
