Fluidmaster B6W48 Dishwasher Connector Stainless Review

This is a good quality flexible braided stainless steel line. The connectors are easy to use and waterproof. Hand tighten the line as directed on the product label, then use a wrench to turn the line an additional 1/2 turn without overtightening. can interfere with creating a good compression seal.

Bought this and a 48" brother to put together so the steam can power my dishwasher and it's easier to connect/disconnect behind the dishwasher after it's pulled out of the alcove , instead of underneath. Speak for a single hose to eliminate potential sources of leaks, but my experience with this type of hose is that I will replace the dishwasher before it starts leaking.

Bought based on other positive reviews. What can I say, it's a nice long hose that made it easy to hook up my dishwasher through a hole in the floor to a faucet in the basement. Make it easy on yourself and tilt the dishwasher before installing to connect this hose, don't be an idiot like me the first time and try the connection when the dishwasher is already installed. The hose looks beautiful, 5 stars from me, if it bursts I'll go back to one star, hope it doesn't happen!

Lots of similar products and manufacturers and I've used several (a matter of conviction as to what was in stock at the time). Fluidmaster hoses have a better connection design and use a better (harder) washer. They are much less prone to damage and leaks. They are also excellent in that they withstand reuse - plug removal and reconnection - in service/maintenance of the end product. No, I don't have a fluid master, just a guy who did a lot of plumbing in all trades.
