This septum clicker decoration is advertised as Surgical Steel so I should be allergic to most metals. I went to my artist yesterday to have jewelry put in and was told it is COATED surgical steel only and due to the location of the piercing and jewelry this coating will quickly disappear. This is false advertising and not cool, especially for those of us who are severely allergic to coated items. So DO NOT BUY this item if like me you are severely allergic to metal. This is one of the best cartilage rings I have ever worn. I used to wear captive ball rings but after buying this one I will never go back. It snaps easily into place, but is still secure. It's incredibly cute and hasn't caused me any problems or addiction to sleeping or styling or combing my hair.
