I'm glad I bought Freud

I bought Freud because of its reputation. I had a problem with the racquet when I first used it. I sent it back to Freud. They sent a new beat very quickly. Things happen. Freud stood behind their product. I'm glad I bought Freud.

Broke after first two uses

In total I cut a few feet of 3/4 thick Baltic birch and at one point I noticed a blade had broken off. The routing speed was always set by instruction, not forced a bit or anything. Expected more from this brand.

Far from the quality I expected based on the reputation of Freud's instruments.

I've heard good things about Freud's instruments but after buying a few bits I have to say I'm very disappointed. I bought this piece a few months ago to use primarily with my router table as a jointer, but it wasn't needed until yesterday. The first piece of wood on this cutter broke the carbide tip of one of the cutters! The triangular piece of cutter broke off and flew through my workshop! (Luckily not in my direction.) What strikes me most about this is that the piece of wood wasn't up…
