The product itself is very beautiful and easy to assemble in a short time. 3 stars because of a serious design flaw that causes me to return it. The angle of the third platform in relation to the base ensures that it doesn't cling to a wall or corner and therefore takes up more space than expected.

Our cats already love this scratching post. We took it out of the box and assembled it in less than 15 minutes. It's very high but the platforms are quite small. An active, rather petite cat will love it, our lazy fat ragdoll just uses it to sharpen her claws. Overall we are very happy with our purchase as are Sophia and Cleo!

My cats love this scratching post! It almost touches our ceiling. My cats are almost 1 year old and weigh over 10 pounds. Seems to be strong. They always play and fight at the highest level and we don't worry about them falling. They love to play with a busy box. My cat destroyed the wrong mouse and ball on the bottom level in 30 minutes. The rope broke when I set it up with little or no pressure. And the mouse toy immediately broke off. I would expect at least a basic level of quality, but that's bad. My cat loves to climb on it. I assembled it yesterday. It was pretty easy to set up. My cat is 5 months old, she is very energetic, very curious and loves to climb. I usually base star ratings half on build quality and half on ease of use. This scratching post is solidly made, the components appear to be very good and it is very easy to assemble. It is very large (almost 6 feet) with enough space for multiple cats to play or sleep. The wrench needed for assembly is included, and the engineering tolerances are good enough that you don't need to bend the parts to align them.
