🚗 Universal 7 Inch Carrying Case for Garmin 010-11917-00 Review

Nice case for my Dezel 780 LMS-S 7 inch GPS. Fits like it was made for it. High quality zipper and lined! Can't reach Garmin quality.

Perfect size for the larger Garmin LMT series and side pocket for power and data cables. Because it's completely soft, it offers limited protection, but as long as you don't offend it, it's not an issue.

My NuviCam is perfect for this. It is soft and easy to attach. I inserted the end without the lens first. I doubt that it protects it from heavy drops on concrete, but it protects the screen and lens from scratches when I put it in my glove box or briefcase. If you want the best protection, buy a hard case for a lot of money, but the price is reasonable for the level of protection I needed.

This is a thin, unstructured neoprene case that offers real protection other than scratches. Also, it's not big enough to support the window/suction cup. If you always leave the window mount attached to the window and just take the screen with you, it will probably work, but it's quite expensive for a thin case. If you're looking for a case that protects your device from drops, or a case that's large enough for the accessories you need, then this isn't it.

I found this soft GPS case to be just what I needed to store my Garmin DriveSmart 61 7" GPS Navigator in the storage compartment of the Prius console when I need to quickly remove it from the dashboard for safety reasons when parked in a shady spot. This is a decent case, but there are two downsides. First, it's advertised to fit all 6-inch and 7-inch Garmin devices, but the new 6-inch nüviCAM barely fits, largely due to the large camera bulge. Second, although their very good 4-5 inch case has two zippered components, one nominally for GPS and the other for various cables etc to be carried around, this isn't entirely clear, but it does consist of a zippered compartment for GPS and an open pocket about 2/3 of the way up on the outside.
