I used it for my subwoofer as my amp is not in the trunk. The shield is pretty tight. I wish I had a foot or two more, it's near my terminal.

This cable is of excellent quality and looks very nice. Although I'm not sure if it's 8 gauge. Possibly both power and ground together are 8. It's still very thick for what I used it for. Should be fine up to 3000 watts or so, but I'm no expert.

Dishonest seller. No copper wire. It's copper-plated aluminum. See photo. The silver color of the cut ends is almost certainly aluminum. Nowhere in the supplement is anything other than copper said. Do not buy!

Not bad, like OFC, but not really 8AWG. Tried to use it with 8AWG crimp shoes, the wire still slips out after crimping. Tried 9AWG tips and they fit perfectly. Not a huge difference in size but deducted 1 star for not being true. But otherwise it works for what I needed it for.

I bought this to upgrade my subwoofer cables. Just as I was about to switch lines, I caught this black-faced white guy dressed as a holo trying to steal my subs. Long story short, I tied him up with wire and the cops forgot to hand him back when they handcuffed him. Will probably have to order more.

This is an excellent subwoofer cable although it is a bit thin compared to the wire itself. The cover or shield, whatever you want to call it, is definitely flexible and strong at the same time, and the cable underneath puts out a great signal. I just wish the wire wouldn't cut so easily when you cut through the protective coating. That's the only reason I gave it four stars and not five.
