I like the idea of this item. It definitely keeps my purse from falling off the front seat onto the passenger side floor! However, the plastic safety tip is easy to remove. This is a design flaw. They should be made permanent as there is no reason not to have them on the wire - the open end is sharp and dangerous. If they ship it with extra grommets or maybe want to figure out how to make them permanent then I would give this item 5 stars!

Whilst the hooks themselves appear to be as described, my product was missing two parts. The packaging clearly shows the plastic caps that fit over the car use pens to secure both pens together. The instructions also direct the user to use them. In my package these cases were not at all. Of course I can still use hooks but I really have to as I'm concerned that without them the hooks will stretch over time. See photos. The white caps pictured were not in the box.
