I have always proven that the regular ink I have purchased will dry out when the printer is not in use. I don't use my printer often. I think regular ink will be fine if I use my printer a lot. The only way to keep my printer reliable is to use genuine Canon inks. Canon is the only choice for me.

Too much work and quite expensive! I thought the ink would cost more than the printer. I chose HP. I pay a small monthly fee and I never run out of ink! Canon must move with the times!

I'll admit this is a hit and miss when it comes to price, but these are the inks that the printer works best with. I've tried fake inks, the printer is programmed not to work with them. Even with the redefinition of the ink remaining indicator, the quality and durability of cheap stuff is inferior.

I buy branded ink because I want my printer to recognize the cartridge I put in. These work fine. The price is reasonable. I used to get annoyed with the brick and mortar store when I went there only to find that they didn't stock my ink. Revain is taking on retail, and here's why.

The best deal I could find is that the price difference isn't too big compared to buying from Canon. It's a bit pricey but could be worse. It took me a while to get here, I didn't realize it was from New York. So it makes sense with this covid19. I tested the ink and my prints turned out great.
