Relatively easy to install

I used this window film on glass doors (for indoor use only). The film was relatively easy to install. It took a little under an hour to make two cabinet doors. I didn't order an installation kit so I used a spray with water and baby soap - it worked fine. The reason I didn't give the film 5 stars is because of the 2.5 inch wide shiny stripe down one side of the film (maybe the glue isn't properly applied to the part on the side?). My project required the entire amount of film, so I couldn't do

Gives you privacy without losing the sunlight.

I love this thing! You definitely want to read the installation instructions. It was a kind of pain and disappointment at times. But! The fight was worth it. It's been running perfectly for almost a year. It works great and gives us some privacy without losing sunlight. And it looks beautiful! *Update 12/2015* I've had it installed for a few years now and it's still holding up great! There was even a wet coating on the film on my windows in the winter and it's still holding up! I had a small…

I live in a city and the basement windows are so exposed that you can watch TV through the windows especially at night. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough space for curtains, so I had to look for another solution. The Gila window film was the perfect way to create privacy in the basement while still letting in ambient light for my dog during the day and while it's difficult I would definitely recommend (and…

Great, works incredibly well if you install it correctly.

I have an acupuncture practice with large windows in front. I wanted to add some privacy to the side window facing the cleaning while letting in light and it worked. You CAN install this with no "bubbles" and no problems with adhesive "breaking". Wash the window completely first. including the frame. Then just take a spray bottle and fill it with a mixture of maybe a teaspoon of baby shampoo and water. I poured the bottle of Windex into a bowl, emptied the sprayer by pushing it all the way…
