Great product and easy to use

I have a patio umbrella with a grill underneath. Well, rabbits and squirrels liked it too and they decided to nest there. The holes in the trellis were large enough for them to come and go as they pleased. I installed this mesh between the porch frame and the grate. Painted the same color and no more problems. It's strong enough to keep rabbits, squirrels, and snakes off my porch. It's very easy to cut with old secateurs, but use gloves.

Great product to protect against living beings.

Used it to circumnavigate our deck which is about 18 inches off the ground to keep out snakes, rabbits, mice, toads and tree frogs. Bury it a few inches deep. With gloves this was easy to handle. I used a heavy duty wire cutter to cut it. I'm not a fan of snakes basking in the gardens surrounding my deck, so I wanted to make it as difficult as possible for them to settle below deck. Used this product on my chicken coop and it doesn't miss a thing.

Unconventional use, but turned out AMAZING

I recently renovated an antique bureau bookcase. One side of the bookshelves was missing the front glass so I decided to give it a more industrial look instead of replacing the glass. I'm really glad I did. I had to redeem this piece and everyone loved the hardware on the doors. Since my grips are polished to a nice brass color, I sprayed some brass colored paint on the hardware fabric to tie them together. It's gotten so cool. I had a ton left over too so it was a great price for such a unique

Good, sharp and versatile product.

Neat product. Bought 3 rolls to protect swallows from invading docks and to cover culverts. Sharp edges as everyone warns, but that is the nature of the product. Seems a little easy but reasonable. There was an issue, a wire came loose while using the gravel section. All of the individual welds on a wire began to fail. This should only be done if there are production issues. Will use again, bought more for the future. With the help of scissors for metal, we cut without any problems. Cheaper and

Puppy got a rattlesnake bite on his nose from putting it where it doesn't belong. Our sheds (built on blocks) could be the culprit along with all my ground cover which I am now clearing. This hardware tarp is an ideal solution for an open area under a canopy. We removed all of the grass around the shed, attached this cloth to the bottom of the shed, and then did a 90 degree turn on the ground. Used gravel to cover all the fabric on the floor. Looks great and keeps snakes from hiding under our…

As a last resort, a short-term solution

can work to a certain point. On the plus side, it's malleable and fairly easy to cut; On the back, one layer is easy to warp / bend. To keep rabbits and other critters out, you'll probably need to double (i.e. two passes or cut and fold) to make the structure stiff enough so nothing can get in. If you're looking for a wire gauge/gauge that's equivalent to a typical sized nail used in carpentry, for example, look elsewhere. I would estimate the wire diameter to be about the same as the material…

Sturdy and well made!

This wire mesh was one of several types we purchased for our new chicken aviary. We use different types of wire to make this area raccoon proof. This wire mesh is quite solidly made and finished exactly as we'd expect. The welding of the product is finished and well done, so I'm not worried that it will last for many years. It is easily cut with scissors and has been used for the inner layer of fence walls. The holes are so small that even the chicks cannot get out. We used a heavier material…

hard stuff! Gear Wrap

I wasn't sure if it would be flexible enough to wrap around my dog's cage. I used a tomato cage as we have a lot of squirrels where I live but the animals easily got through the holes. I decided to hem the outside with this 1/4 inch grid. The word "substance" is misleading. It is a strong material but flexible at the same time! Also those miniature gophers will not get in now. Don't worry, bees can still get through 1/4 inch squares to pollinate tomatoes and I can help by shaking the plants a…

Not bug proof but well made

Probably my fault. I thought I had ordered a thicker mesh. When the product arrived I was very excited to win my nineteen year battle against the critters, especially after Mama Skunk and her kittens drove off black snakes (nice) and groundhogs (unniceable) last summer. Ten meter trenches, one foot deep and wide, stone anchors, L-shaped mesh, 12" deep and 12" horizontal to avoid washout, and backfilled. It was awful in the heat, but I'm not sure I've ever felt so proud of a renovation project…
