I like the housing design. The elastic cord keeps my headphones secure while the soft interior minimizes scratches. This case is really good for protection. The only issue I have is an apparent design flaw that others have pointed out. The small pouch that holds the cables is unreliable and the cables tend to shift during transport. Depending on the procedure, the cables can slip out of the pocket when the housing is opened. Not a big problem but it keeps me from giving it five stars.

I bought this for Sony CH700N headphones and it does the job perfectly. However, it's not as durable as we'd like. I don't like that it can be squeezed together and the halves are on top of each other with an insert. It doesn't really make it that protective when I'm putting it in a backpack or traveling with it. This case fits my Sony MDR-XB950B1 headphones. I looked at many headphone cases to buy as these headphones don't come with a case or pouch. Many headphone cases promised to fit the XB950B1, but all reviews said it actually didn't. I can confirm that XB950B1 is SUITABLE in this case.
