🚪 GMI GuardMaster III Swing Gate - Tall and Wide with Wood Slat Design Review

Item NOT as described. Assembly and instructions appear simple BUT THE HEIGHT OF THE GATE IS NOT 32 INCHES. SHE IS ONLY 30 3/4 INCHES. No one else with a good rating even has the gate I really need, the tall EvenFlo gate. I have to change it to use it at all. To make it even 32 inches high, it has to be raised higher than the distance between the vertical slats, which is stupid and wrong. What's the point? We spent weeks looking for two child gates that met our needs: (1) room for openings over 50 inches and (2) with a "quick release" gate from Heavyweight traffic when not needed. We needed gates >48" and wanted all gates to open (not the small door in the middle of the gate - they are very narrow). It's perfect for us at the top of the stairs with our one year old. The locking mechanism is a bit tight and takes some getting used to, but I love that we can do it, but it becomes very difficult for a child to understand or operate. I like that it slides to get narrower so it often fails when we don't need it. We didn't have any of the problems mentioned in another…
