assembled once then disassembled and reassembled as only the instructions on the pictures were very unclear it is actually a nice scratching post. This is a good scratching post for its money. once assembled stands approximately 6 feet tall. I wish it had a pair of sisal posts instead of fabric, I'll probably add that later. But in general the tree is not bad. The instructions were fine. I know some other reviewers have mentioned that the instructions are complicated. But I set everything up in less than an hour.

This tree was the best deal given the height and number of houses and perches. Unfortunately my cat won't use it because it's unstable. It wobbles when she sits on it, so she immediately jumps off. I used catnip and it still wouldn't stick. It was easy to put together and the fabric is soft but I wish it was more durable. I can't get it to stop shaking at the moment.
