Harley Davidson Roadglide Street Electra Review

I've read a lot of reviews about the screws being too long. There are no instructions in the kit, but it's a fairly easy job. Short screw to attach the adapter to the fairing, long screws to attach the speaker. Only fits one way and it can take a bit of dexterity to get the screws in, but once in place they are very secure. I'm very happy with it and it only took about 10 minutes to install.

Worked great and allowed me to buy Infinity Kappa 6.5 inch round speakers which I also bought to fit perfectly. One thing to note. All the screws provided to attach it to the dashboard are the same size, if you turn the screw all the way to the bottom of the adapter goes through your dashboard. I found this out the hard way and now I have a hole in my dash. Not the manufacturer's fault, I should have been more careful.

Worked as expected on my 1997 Electra Glide Ultra Classic to convert my 5 1/4 to 6 1/2. No spacing issues with some 3-way kickers. Factory hole and adapter alignment won't work on a showbike, but after you put a few covers on it doesn't matter if it's your everyday chick-picker top. Walmart sells a small 2 channel dual amp for $50 or something that fits in a casing that works really well.

As other reviews have mentioned, the screws are junk, the heads are ripped out and I used a quality Mac Tools driver, they are also too long. 1 star rating - the kit did not include the necessary screws to attach the kit and speakers. The picture shows two sets of screws, I only received one. This is an additional 5 cents charge to ensure the correct hardware is present to securely install the adapter and speakers. The bench grinder shortened the OEM screws and rounded the heads to fit the pre-drilled holes in the plastic. Adapter.
