Fan clutch wobbles a lot. Also, it stays on consistently, even after 50 miles, and never turns off, meaning it's not only putting a constant strain on the engine, but also on the water pump shaft and bearing. As an aside my new water pump now has a small drain leak meaning I will be replacing the water pump in just 50 miles. I know some people have had good luck with this fan clutch, but maybe I was just unlucky.

I used this in my 2005 F2005 with 6.0 Powerstroke. The 6.0 originally came with an electronically controlled fan. This one is mechanical, so there's less bounce. My electronics failed and caused the engine to overheat while towing an RV, resulting in a cracked head. Do yourself a favor and buy this now if you think your clutch fan is failing. We made a Mod 7.3 fan clutch on our 04 6.0 Powerstroke with this block. I can't believe how much better this fan clutch performs than the Visctronic clutch that comes from the factory. We're in Florida hauling 12,000 pounds in 95 degree heat and very high humidity. This fan clutch lowered both ECT and EOT by over 10 degrees.
