Herm Sprenger 16 Inches Curogan Prong Training Collar for Small Dogs with Up to 13 Inches Necks - 2.25mm Size Review

I bought this because I have a white husky and the last spiked collar I bought her turned her hair gray. This also changes her gray hair. it just takes a little longer. It's also less reliable, it fell apart when I was walking my husky and she ran away. I followed her for 30 minutes and she almost got hit by a car. I bought a leash splitter so I don't lose my dog if this inevitably happens again.

I bought this collar (I already have a stainless steel collar) because I thought my dog's itching was caused by a metal allergy; NO! My dog only has one collar, although this collar doesn't itch any more than a normal one. I've been using Prongs for about 2 years and this is by far the easiest tool to use when used properly. I suggest anyone interested in this collar (or others) to do their research! Lots of research! I would also go to the coach if I had any questions.

I would like to rate this product better, but it turns my dog's neck green/black and won't wash off. Luckily, the company that sells it was kind enough to offer me a 50% discount on the stainless steel version and assured me that the stainless steel wouldn't stain your neck. Also the color works well, doesn't block releases quickly, if you do a fix and the color looked good on it I'm very disappointed that it colors it and is unusable for that reason.

I have AMST who has a lot of skin allergies. I started on a chrome snapper and she was so allergic to nickel that her throat developed an itchy rash that turned into scabs. I switched to Kurogan and it all went away (until it turned out she was allergic to nylon too). This is a 58 lb dog with a 16 inch neck and needed an additional connection to the regular collar.
