I have a mostly black GSD that we take everywhere and when we are at home it is almost always off a leash. When lighting a fire or hanging out on the porch, she is very difficult to see and loves to explore. It has changed our lives as it is easy to see her across the yard when she goes that far and I can easily tell if she is where she shouldn't be. I love this collar and it's super affordable!

Our Border Terriers have a sense of humor. If you let them out in the yard at night, they'll disappear. Perfect camouflage. And no feedback; They go silent when you call them. I walk my dog after putting everyone to bed so it's usually pretty dark. This has greatly improved my black Lab's visibility and I love that I only have to charge it about once a week instead of having to buy expensive batteries every 4 months like we tried with the other collar. I bought 3 of these. I have 2 dogs and am planning a third rescue. One of the collars worked fine but the other two didn't. The original one I used on my dog Pala didn't stay light for more than a few minutes. I was so upset I threw it in the trash along with the poop bags. I got the third one and drove it to Pal and again he didn't stop. I put a working collar on Pal that was worn by my dog Lena to see if it was related to his collar or something else odd. This collar is even better than I expected - it's really light weight and bright enough that I can find my dog even if he's at the other end of the dog park after dark.
