Wow - simple but very effective!

I happened upon this hitch grip while browsing Revain looking for something else. It seems that money can be spent on something that is not really needed. But I read the reviews because I didn't think it might be worth it. Reviews say otherwise. Remembering the hassle of installing and removing my equalizer hitch on a truck and moving it around the garage and camping I thought why not? So I ordered one. It just arrived and it's worth every penny! This makes moving, installing and removing my…

Overpriced, doesn't really solve the problem

I bought this after getting tired of the grease on my hands when removing the clutch. I'm 38 so I'm getting up but I still DON'T NEED it. This means I can physically remove my clutch quite easily. So if you need it because of lifting issues, you might be fine, but I'll still be careful. It doesn't sit very securely on my hitch. It's too easy to put on and take off. With the full weight of the hitch on the handle I don't think it's going to slip, but when detaching the hitch from the truck I…

I love this tool.: hitch

I have an F350 with a 2.5 inch receiver. So I bought a 2.5" drawbar for our Equalizer WD hitch. The TIRE weighs 31 lbs. After adding the hitch head my weight will exceed 50 pounds. This HitchGrip takes it up with no problem. out if it falls. One thing I didn't like about the EQ clutch is that it has to have a lot of lube underneath which makes it difficult to wear and not greasy. That got the job done. I have our hitch head as low as it can go and I have no problem using this tool. One person…

To make it work as advertised

I'm a thin elderly guy with back and hip problems. Leaning in and raising the clutch to distribute the weight was a bit of a challenge for me. This carrier bar with clutch handle really made things easier so I didn't have to bend down all the way to get the clutch off the ground. The holder makes it easier to grasp and overcome inertia, but the weight is still there, so be prepared anyway. Also, keep your feet under the hitch while moving it with the holder and if someone helps you lift it onto

Can't say enough about this product!

When I first saw an ad for one of these I knew I had to buy it and I wasn't disappointed. I am 73 years old and had surgery on both shoulders for a torn rotator cuff, hernia and stage 3 rectal cancer. I don't have a lot of upper body strength. I know why the hell I need an equalizer. Well I have an RV my wife and I love camping and the worst part of the trip was the driving, hitching up the hitch in the back of my truck while camping and doing it all over again before leaving. HitchGrip makes…

Useless gadget works best with tow bars

This is a useless gadget that I unfortunately fell for. The worst part was missing the return window. The weight doesn't spread any easier than if I just lifted it. I asked my wife to lift it as she would benefit the most from the weight shift and she said it was no better. The worst part, and the reason I will NEVER use this thing, is that it doesn't feel secure AT ALL when you're carrying your hundred pound hitch. If you attach it and hold it straight and lift it will hold up well indeed, but

Not essential but very comfortable

Reading all these reviews I can tell people just have the wrong idea as to why you should spend money on it. It's not about lubrication and it's not about sheer power. With this device you can carry and mount the towbar with one hand. You don't have to touch the ball of grease, but the grease will get on the tool. Just have a rag handy to wipe it off. The tool itself weighs next to nothing, so it doesn't add any extra weight when stored in the luggage compartment. I'm perfectly capable of…
