Bought for my boat but I can't see the screen when it's in the sun or even when it's cloudy. It is not recommended for anything that the sun hits the screen. A car would be great. I have a supercharged LSX engine and wanted to see what the computer was reading but couldn't.

A little disappointed that it arrived boxed rather than boxed as this item was a Christmas present but it is unplugged, won't turn on and works great. There are so many useful things in this cluster that we find particularly useful when paired with a Holley efi ECU. Highly recommended! I can't wait to test it on the track once the season starts.

OK, maybe not for everyone, but fairly easy to fit for electronically primed transmissions. However, for my application, marine engines in wooden boats, you'd be better off rewiring or building your own suspension. So in terms of cabling, you need to understand that you need the right cables and that digital and analog are not the same thing. Now, when you look at the display itself, read the manual carefully and familiarize yourself with the language. I made it "on the coffee table", no rush…

I bought this 7 inch digital instrument cluster about 3 months ago, I paid extra money for I/O ports and GPS. Basically I wanted to connect three things to the I/O ports, one was the oil pressure, the second was the fuel level and the third was the turn signals. I have a GPS to track speed and miles. Here's the problem - I paid ($150) for an expensive oil sensor and plugged it into the dash with the I/O ports. Every time I try to start the truck it reads -11 psi. I called Holly EIGHT times…
