Easy installation, love spark plug wire clip. Most of the time you need to wrap the cord around the power plug and loosen the zip tie. Nothing special about the hour counter like all others that have tach/hour displays. It displays the tachometer when it's running and the hours when it's not running. I want to have mounting bolts/nuts with me.

I bought this and installed it quite easily but during the test run the display died and randomly came on again. I could bring the display back by pressing the meter on the back, but it will quickly dim again. Rather than return the meter, I took it apart and found that the negative (-) leg of the internal battery was not soldered to the component board. This is my third Honda gauge in 535 hours of alternator use. The first lasted two years and 500 hours, and the second, bought this spring (2017), only lasted 25 hours, after which the display disappeared. I bought my third one about a month ago and it ran for 9 hours before it reset to 2.2 hours and now the display shows the word 'Service' at the bottom of the screen.
