Also has the extra wide zig zag opening on foot. Stitch in the Ditch Foot Sa191 With a LONG GUIDE to stabilize the edges. Brother stitch in the ditch foot.

Doesn't work with my vintage cars

This foot doesn't have enough room for topstitching on my vintage machines. I suspect it's more for a newer domestic car.

Pros
  • Feet
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Don't waste money!

I bought this attachment to sew straight rows on a baby blanket. The nozzle guide is not centered and will move, making trench sewing impossible. It was a waste of money. Unfortunately I didn't send it back in time for a refund.

Pros
  • Sewing machine parts and accessories
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Useful but not perfect

I've used it to quilt some basic HST and QST napkins. I was generally able to trace the "groove" with the guide in the forefoot, but the stitching actually came out to the right of the groove, not in it. Since the splint is made of very thin metal, it is also very flexible. There have been cases where the fabric moved back and forth slowly and the guide was flexible enough to stay in the indentation, but the stitches moved farther from the indentation. It wasn't always obvious that this wasโ€ฆ
