Not as described! The mud bowl was described as "very good". Although the dust cup is in working condition, it could be more accurately described as "VERY DIRTY WITH VERY DEEP SCRATCHES". I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING FROM THIS SELLER and I am very disappointed that a dirty product like this was even considered suitable for shipment to a buyer. I gave it two stars because it's serviceable despite its condition.

The reason I bought a replacement in the first place is because the original broke, so I know it's only a matter of time before this one breaks too. It is exactly the same as the original and works the same way. It is more profitable to buy a vacuum cleaner part than to buy a new Hoover Linx so this item will remain on my watch list until my Hoover Linx breaks. As I found out when ordering this dust cap breaks very easily, not because people are particularly clumsy but because it is poorly designed for its purpose. I was informed that the seller actually ships a few each month (it's one of their best selling items!). As happy as I am to be able to replace it, I am beyond surprised that the expensive Hoover product advertised and marketed by Neiman Marcus as "the best stick vacuum" was so cheaply designed.
