I ordered genuine Hoover branded vacuum bags (as shown in the listing, not the one pictured here) but a non-genuine brand was sent instead. I called Revain and they took care of it straight away and even the Revain representative I spoke to was surprised to see the item was still pictured with genuine Hoover branded bags. They corrected the list and now it looks like they have the correct bags in the photo. These bags might work just fine, but I've never used them, so I really don't know.

I've seen many people knock out spare bags for one reason or another. Poor fit, poor filtration etc. They work well - they fit well and appear to be well made. I can't swear it filters better than any other bag, and I know third-party bags can be a bit smaller, but that's not a huge amount of money - and for all my vacuums (a dog plus a cat = daily vacuuming) I would like to think that the bag does not throw out a lot of dust - I would buy it again.
