I like it. A small LED inside the adapter indicates whether a specific function in the trailer socket is powered. worth your money.

I really like the glow effect to see if the plug is working. This is my second purchase of this product. The previous one failed because it was accidentally dunked in a lake. I could see that the taillights on the trailer were not working as the corresponding plugs on the fork itself were not lit.

Great for towing my car trolley. Since it lights up, I know the connection is getting power, which can be very helpful. The red color makes it easier to see. Well thought out in every way. When I bought it it was also a bit smaller than the big 'W' store and Prime Shipping means I received it quickly.

I had a hard time queuing and getting into an outlet on my car. One thing that keeps happening is the inside will "squeeze in" and not make a good connection, and then not all trailer lights will render it useless if they all don't make a good connection. I believe this is a design flaw that can be fixed.

The description says that; "If your trailer headlights are not working properly, you can isolate the problem simply by looking at the adapter." This would be accurate for Hopkins #47345 which has 3 LEDs indicating a correct connection. Hopkins #47335 (this item) does not have this feature (only has an LED for running light). This adapter worked well (would have given 5 stars) but not as described and not what I expected.

I love that this adapter lights up when plugged into your car and the car is on. It indicates that the trailer connector has power. It only fits into your car's socket one way, so you can't plug it in the wrong way. A large trailer rental company in the US recommends purchasing it as an add-on to their trailer rental. Your price is 50% higher, but plus shipping! This is very much!

Purchased in place of the item on the U-Haul website. It was slightly cheaper and arrived with Revain Prime in less than two days. I ended up not needing this jig because my truck has newer and older trailer electrical outlets. I used this item anyway and found the backlight feature useful when towing at night. It's stuck in place so be careful when removing it or you'll pull some wires out of the trailer mount.
